Dennis Phillips

Racing Manager

Dennis has been involved in racing for well over a decade, including being a former part owner of Same Old Wish, a 3rd place finisher in the 1996 Breeder's Cup Mile .  Be it as an individual owner, a breeder, or as a partner, Dennis understands surrounding oneself with quality people.  Having previously worked closely with Darrin Miller, Dennis has developed key relationships to obtain quality horses. Just consider the filly Mikeandmegandrew.  Purchased by Dennis for $11k, he sold her fresh off of her first time out maiden breaking score for over $300k.  Now that's a nice profit!!

Linda Albert

Trainer

Linda has trained horses for me for the last 12 years.  Named Maryland Trainer of the Year in 2004, no one takes better care of their horses than Linda does.  A winner of 488 races lifetime with $8.6mm in purses earned, Linda consistently places her horses in races where they have a shot at earning the biggest part of the paycheck. With wins in the Maryland Million Classic, Maryland Million Nursery, Maryland Million Lassie, Maryland Million Starter Handicap, The William Donald Scheafer Handicap (Preakness Day), The Tesio Stakes, The Miracle Wood, having the right horse shows Linda can win the big ones.

As the management of Rebate Stable, we have three goals:

  1. To be profitable
  2. To have fun
  3. To win races

We have developed a Business Plan, a set of Operating Guidelines, and a "Members Expectations" list so everyone will be on the same page when joining Rebate Stable.  The more information everyone has about the stable from the start, prevents surprises later.
